Welcome to my portfolio — a collection of stories told through editing, sound, motion, and culture. From community events to live performances, I find the moments that matter and shape them into content that connects.
Every clip below is entirely my own. Across these projects I wore many hats: videographer, interviewer, editor, and motion graphics artist — originally broadcast on local cable and distributed through YouTube, this work consistently grew its audience year over year. Beyond the footage, I extended each project's reach through blogs, highlight reels, and social media content — building community engagement before, during, and after every event.

With over 12 years of field and studio production experience, I've collaborated with community members, local government, and organizations to tell stories that raise awareness and drive real engagement. Working in lean production environments sharpened my ability to wear many hats — director, producer, videographer, editor, blogger, and social media manager — and deliver polished work at every stage of the process.

I work across the full production pipeline, from camera setup and lighting to post-production and distribution. My technical toolkit includes After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Premiere, Cablecast, Teleprompter, Tightrope, TriCaster, WordPress, and Zoom. I bring the same creative attention to sound design and motion graphics as I do to the edit itself — because every element of a piece shapes how the audience experiences it.
A love letter to community — this edit captures the breadth and spirit of Pride through movement, color, and crowd joy. Wide establishing shots and intimate close-ups are woven together to show both scale and humanity. The audio mix blends parade sound with an uplifting bed track, keeping the atmosphere authentic. Text overlays are minimal and celebratory. Color grading enhances the vibrancy already present in the footage, letting the culture speak for itself.
Vibrant, playful, and unapologetically bold — this edit matches the energy of the performers themselves. Beat-synced cuts align with performance peaks, and the color grade is pushed to complement the visual spectacle: saturated, electric, alive. Text overlays lean into personality — styled to fit the moment rather than a template. Sound design mixes performance audio with music to build momentum. This one's built to entertain and celebrate.
Since 1994, the Kensington 8K Race has been a favorite fall event in the DC area, benefiting eight local schools. Known as a true community race, it brings together parents, kids, and visitors, all cheering each other on as runners make their way through Kensington and Rock Creek Park.

The idea for the show came to me after interviewing members of the MoCo Pride Center board. During the interview, I spoke with Phillip, one of the members, and asked if he would be interested in hosting the show—an opportunity he gladly accepted.
I volunteered and captured footage of the Capital Pride Parade, a vibrant celebration featuring jeeps, cars, bikes, and people proudly parading through the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. It was an event full of energy, where the crowd was loud and proud, sending a message of inclusion, representation, and love for all to see.
